1. Quick Guide
🔑 Check-In / Access:
Once you arrive at Lakeview please enter the building reception on right handside:
- Check-in after 3.30 PM via secure lockbox (details and directions sent before arrival).
- Security will verify ID on arrival and provide lift access.
- Wi-Fi: Soul-Residences Password: soulresidences!
- Please check apartment and report any problems or damages immediately.
- Check-out by 10.30 AM → run dishwasher, dispose of rubbish, switch off AC and all switches and power using Smart life.
- Use remote controls or Lenovo Tablet(SMART LIFE APP) to control lights, AC, NAIM Amp(change inputs for projector or Spotify)
- Use the remote for the projector screen and XIOMI remote for projector power on. Select Firestick in inputs and change to FIRESTICK remote.
- Please return all remote controls to box and place LENOVO Tablet on dock before check out.
- Rubbish chute is on the corridor; please tie bags securely and don't place large bags down the chute.
- Hot Water - Turn on the water heater switch outside each bathroom 15–20 minutes before shower/bath. Switch off after use.
- Please respect House Rules
- No smoking or pets inside the apartment and please don't throw cigarettes from balcony.
- Please respect our neighbours and keep the noise down between 10pm-10am.
- Please help us conserve energy and switch off AC when out, not using the room and after check out.
2. 📱 LENOVO Tablet for smart home controls and useful apps.
Swipe right on the Lenovo home screen to open the “Smart Apps” panel (Smart Life, Spotify, Naim, JustLife).
Swipe down from the top for Wi-Fi, brightness, and quick settings
Always keep the tablet docked to maintain charge when not in use.

☕ Coffee Bar – De’Longhi Magnifica
1 Fill the water tank and check beans in hopper and that tray is empty
2. Power on
3. Use the centre dial to set strength.
4. For milk frothing, press the top right button, open the valve and use the wand (purge steam briefly first).
5. For espresso select the single or double cups on the left.
6. For Americano select the cups on the right
5. After use: empty drip tray daily and rinse wand.
TIP for Iced coffees the fridge has ice dispenser — press Water / Cubed / Crushed. Please keep water tank in fridge topped up with drinking water.
🎬 Home Cinema
1. Use the screen remote to raise the screen; close curtains for darkness.
2. Power on the Xiaomi 4K Projector using Xiaomi remote control
3. Press Input (top right menu on projector screen)→ select Amazon Firestick INPUT (then use the Firestick remote control the Amazon screen apps).
4. Open Netflix/Prime/YouTube and sign in with your account.
5. For sound, power on Naim Atom → select Projector input (on remote or front display).

4. 🏖️ Local Guide & Favourites
In this section you will find some useful links including our JLT favourites NOLA(book early) for a cool speakeasy vibe and live music, Cafe Issan for the best Thai street food(both at Armada hotel at the park end) and Lock Stock on JBR for a huge live music and rock party, just one of the famous JBR venues. For Marina views check out the 7 bars on Pier Seven connected to the Marina Mall just a 12min walk away across the metro bridge. Next door in Cluster A you have UBK bar for sports and bands and Couqley French Bistro or take a wander around the lakes and parks for some great street food or walk up the stairs to the Hotel Bars and restaurants for more upmarket evenings out. For beach time on the morning after you can walk to JBR for a lively spot or check our the local favourite Kite Beach for Food trucks and biking and a more chilled beach day.

Dubai is built for outdoor living and there so much to do — championship golf, bowling nights, padel clubs, and endless beaches.
Here’s our pick of the best nearby options for a relaxed or active day out from Lakeview Tower, JLT.
For golf obsessives like me, if your prefer a more relaxed but challenging 9 hole course for more laid back golfing and refreshments my home course at Jebal Ali Golf and Holiday resort https://www.google.com/aclk?sa... cant be beaten for good value and is highly recommended and less busy. For the other courses they are all very busy and championship standard so make sure to book ahead and look out for the deals to save on the rack rate!
Golf is playable all year in Dubai but for summer months I would only recommend sunrise or twilight golf with plenty of liquids, alternately check out the night golf at Emirates 9 hole or fun night at TOP GOLF just 10mins taxi ride.
